Frank Lampard heaped Compliments on Tammy Abraham after his Participation.
Lampard has integrated youth players into his squad when taking over as boss, as he was faced with a move ban, and they have repaid his faith.
On Saturday, Tammy Abraham scored a hat-trick with Fikayo Tomori and also Mason Mount – with scored two in each of the previous two league games – in Molineux.
And Lampard was thrilled with their efforts, telling Sky Sports:”I am thrilled to observe that [kids taking their opportunities ] since it’s not easy.
“Tammy is [looking the role ] and that’s function, having gone out ahead and scoring lots of goals from the Championship, acquiring annually at the Premier League and today I think he believes the duty of this Chelsea shirt as he needs to. The past three games speak for themselves.
“The only challenge for Tammy today is can he keep doing this? Could he become better and better because how he’s playing, he is a huge danger for us up front and there is rivalry within from [Olivier] Giroud and [Michy] Batshuayi so that he needs to keep it at that level and get better.
“Tomori had a terrific time in the Championship last season but that is a step up and he has completely taken to it got an extraordinary goal today, which will be a massive memory for him moving forward. It is time, the youngsters deserved their opportunities and they will need to keep improving.”
The compliments kept with Phil Thompson loving his advancement at Chelsea coming on Soccer Saturday.
“He was very, very great. His job is to score goals, but he also got involved in the remaining part of the match,” he said.
“He got four goals, an own goal and cramp, therefore it was quite an afternoon ! He led the line brilliantly and was fantastic. And he is only getting better and better.”
Wolves start their Europa League effort on Thursday and will go on the back of the thick Chelsea defeat, with no wins.
Understandably, manager Nuno Espirito Santo was not happy with his side’s performance, telling Sky Sports:”It was a terrible performance. We started pressing and producing good moments. The match changed with a goal, everything gets harder and the team lost a bit of concentration.
“Today we were defeated, Chelsea were better than us and we have to recognise that, congratulate Chelsea and move forward. Bad games can occur, but what is important is that they can not be repeated by us. We must respond and become better.”
